Therapy for where you are, and where you’re going.
Studio Twenty Three is a virtual psychotherapy practice for those in Illinois and Wisconsin, offering a warm, collaborative space to navigate life, healing, and what comes next.WELCOME inThere’s Room for You Here
Studio Twenty Three was created to feel like a space where you can arrive exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation to have it all figured out. Therapy is a collaborative process, and there’s room here to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and explore what comes next. My hope is that you feel welcomed, understood, and able to be fully yourself.
What Brings You HereSupport For Where You Are
At Studio Twenty Three, therapy can make space for many different parts of your life. You may be navigating something difficult, noticing patterns you want to better understand, adjusting to change, or simply feeling ready for something to be different. Below are some of the areas we may explore together.
-
Anxiety can show up in many ways, from persistent worry and overthinking to feeling emotionally overwhelmed, on edge, or uncertain. Together, we can make sense of what you’re experiencing and explore ways to navigate anxiety, uncertainty, and overwhelm with greater understanding and self-trust.
-
Life transitions can bring new responsibilities, uncertainty, and questions about what comes next. You may also find yourself exploring who you are, what matters to you, or what may be getting in the way of moving forward. Together, we can work through these shifts at a pace that feels right for you.
-
Relationships can shape how we see ourselves and connect with the people around us. Together, we can explore communication, boundaries, self-esteem, intimacy, and the ways you navigate connection with the people who matter to you.
-
Grief can change how you move through the world, and there is no single way to experience or process loss. It can be complicated, nonlinear, and deeply personal—sometimes showing up in ways you may not expect. Together, we can make room for your experience without judgment or a timeline, explore what your grief means to you, and find ways to carry it with compassion.
-
Trauma can shape how you experience safety, trust, power and control, self-esteem, and intimacy, as well as how you see yourself, others, and the world around you. Together, we can gently explore what you’ve experienced, make sense of patterns and beliefs that may have developed along the way, and work toward healing, self-trust, and a greater sense of safety at a pace that feels right for you.
Meet LolaThe Person Behind the Practice
You don’t have to come to therapy with everything figured out. I believe therapy can begin with simply feeling comfortable enough to show up as you are. As your therapist, my role isn’t to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to meet you where you are and work alongside you as we make sense of what you’ve been through, what you’re experiencing now, and where you want to go from here. I’ll bring curiosity, compassion, and thoughtful reflection to our work, while gently challenging you when it may be helpful to consider a different perspective.

Where We BeginWhat Working Together Looks Like
-

01 / Reach Out
Tell me a little about what brings you here and what you’re hoping for. You don’t need to know exactly what to say—just start where you are.
-

02 / Hear From Lola
I’ll personally follow up by email or through a brief 5–10 minute call. This is a chance to ask any initial questions and get a sense of whether working together feels like the right next step for you.
-

03 / Complete Your Intake & Forms
If you decide you’d like to move forward, I’ll invite you to your secure Client Portal, where you’ll find the intake and necessary practice and consent forms. These help me gather the information I need to prepare for our work together and get the practical details in place before we begin, including insurance or private-pay information. Once everything is submitted, I’ll review your information, and we’ll schedule your first session. If you have questions along the way, we can talk through them together.
-

04 / Begin Together
Your first session is a moment to slow down and talk more about what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your history and the experiences that have shaped where you are today, what’s happening in your life now, and what you’d like to work toward. There’s no expectation to tell your story perfectly. You’ll have space to add to your story over time—we don’t have to cover everything in one session. We’ll take our time and begin shaping our work together around what feels most important to you and your goals.
