Therapy for where you are, and where you’re going.

Studio Twenty Three is a virtual psychotherapy practice for those in Illinois and Wisconsin, offering a warm, collaborative space to navigate life, healing, and what comes next.
WELCOME in

There’s Room for You Here

Studio Twenty Three was created to feel like a space where you can arrive exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation to have it all figured out. Therapy is a collaborative process, and there’s room here to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and explore what comes next. My hope is that you feel welcomed, understood, and able to be fully yourself.

What Brings You Here

Support For Where You Are

At Studio Twenty Three, therapy can make space for many different parts of your life. You may be navigating something difficult, noticing patterns you want to better understand, adjusting to change, or simply feeling ready for something to be different. Below are some of the areas we may explore together.

The Person Behind the Practice

You don’t have to come to therapy with everything figured out. I believe therapy can begin with simply feeling comfortable enough to show up as you are. As your therapist, my role isn’t to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to meet you where you are and work alongside you as we make sense of what you’ve been through, what you’re experiencing now, and where you want to go from here. I’ll bring curiosity, compassion, and thoughtful reflection to our work, while gently challenging you when it may be helpful to consider a different perspective.

Where We Begin

What Working Together Looks Like

  • Minimalist interior with three wooden pedestals, a glass vase with dried greenery, and a stack of books including "A Democracy of Imagery" by Jason Schmidt on a marble surface. Behind, a textured beige wall section and part of a grey wall are visible.

    01 / Reach Out

Tell me a little about what brings you here and what you’re hoping for. You don’t need to know exactly what to say—just start where you are.

  • A small wooden side table with a marble top, decorated with a stack of books, a small silver dish, and white sculptural vases holding dried brown flowers, set against a plain white wall and partially visible cream-colored armchair.

    02 / Hear From Lola

I’ll personally follow up by email or through a brief 5–10 minute call. This is a chance to ask any initial questions and get a sense of whether working together feels like the right next step for you.

  • A workspace featuring a laptop keyboard, an open notebook with torn pages, a black pen, a cup of black coffee on a saucer, sitting on a wooden surface.

    03 / Complete Your Intake & Forms

If you decide you’d like to move forward, I’ll invite you to your secure Client Portal, where you’ll find the intake and necessary practice and consent forms. These help me gather the information I need to prepare for our work together and get the practical details in place before we begin, including insurance or private-pay information. Once everything is submitted, I’ll review your information, and we’ll schedule your first session. If you have questions along the way, we can talk through them together.

  • A black candle is lit, placed on top of a stack of white books on a modern black and beige sideboard in a minimalist room with plain white walls.

    04 / Begin Together

Your first session is a moment to slow down and talk more about what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your history and the experiences that have shaped where you are today, what’s happening in your life now, and what you’d like to work toward. There’s no expectation to tell your story perfectly. You’ll have space to add to your story over time—we don’t have to cover everything in one session. We’ll take our time and begin shaping our work together around what feels most important to you and your goals.
