4. Website Information Is Not Psychotherapy or Professional Advice

The information provided through this Website is intended for general informational and educational purposes only.

Website content does not constitute psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, diagnosis, medical advice, or other individualized professional advice. Information provided on the Website should not be used as a substitute for care or advice from a qualified healthcare or mental health professional who is familiar with your individual circumstances.

Accessing, browsing, or using the Website does not establish a therapist-client relationship or other professional relationship between you and Studio Twenty Three or any clinician affiliated with the practice.

5. Inquiries and the Therapist-Client Relationship

The Website may allow you to submit an inquiry regarding psychotherapy services

Submitting an inquiry is an initial request for information about potential services. It is not a clinical assessment, formal registration for services, or guarantee that services will be available or offered, and submitting an inquiry does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

Studio Twenty Three may review the information you provide and contact you regarding your inquiry, availability, scheduling, or potential next steps. Submission of an inquiry does not obligate you to begin services and does not obligate Studio Twenty Three to accept you as a client or provide services.

A therapist-client relationship is established only after Studio Twenty Three has agreed to provide psychotherapy services and the applicable intake, informed-consent, and practice documentation required to begin services has been completed.

If a therapist-client relationship is established, psychotherapy services are governed by the applicable informed consent, practice policies, privacy notices, and other clinical documentation provided to you. Those documents are separate from these Website Terms.

Information submitted through the Website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Emergencies and Urgent Mental Health Needs

The Website, inquiry form, and general practice email are not emergency or crisis services and should not be used for urgent or emergency mental health needs. Communications submitted through these channels may not be reviewed immediately.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, are in immediate danger, or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

For crisis support in the United States, you may also call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Studio Twenty Three does not provide emergency response services through this Website.

7. Availability and Eligibility for Psychotherapy Services

Information on the Website regarding psychotherapy services is provided for general informational purposes and does not guarantee that services are currently available or appropriate for a particular individual.

Psychotherapy services are subject to clinician availability, clinical appropriateness, applicable licensing requirements, and other practice considerations.

Studio Twenty Three currently provides virtual psychotherapy services to eligible clients located in Illinois and Wisconsin. A visitor's ability to access this Website from another location does not mean that Studio Twenty Three is authorized or available to provide psychotherapy services in that location.

8. Accuracy and Availability of Website Content

Studio Twenty Three makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and current information. However, we do not guarantee that all Website content will always be accurate, complete, current, or free from errors.

Your use of a third-party website or service is subject to that third party's applicable terms, policies, and privacy practices.

The inclusion of a third-party link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of all content, products, services, or views provided by that third party.

12. Linking to This Website

You may link to publicly available pages of the Website in a lawful and fair manner, provided the link does not falsely suggest an affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement by Studio Twenty Three.

You may not frame or otherwise display the Website within another website in a manner that misrepresents the source or ownership of its content.

Studio Twenty Three is not responsible for damage caused by viruses, malicious code, unauthorized third-party activity, interruptions, or other harmful material or events beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

This section applies to use of the Website. It does not replace, alter, or govern the terms applicable to psychotherapy services provided through an established therapist-client relationship.

14. Privacy and Cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information collected through or in connection with the Website is handled.

Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used on the Website and the choices available to you.

15. Changes to or Discontinuation of the Website

Studio Twenty Three may update, modify, remove, suspend, or discontinue Website content or functionality at any time.

We may also update information about our services, policies, availability, clinicians, or other practice details as circumstances change.

16. General Terms

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

No Waiver. If Studio Twenty Three does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Entire Agreement Regarding Website Use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising solely from the use of this Website or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

Nothing in this section is intended to alter any rights, obligations, procedures, or remedies that may apply separately to professional psychotherapy services.
